For Teens

Adolescence is a challenging stage of development for many people and it is certainly a time when psychological and/or social problems more commonly appear than at any other time during childhood. You may witness some behavioural changes in your adolescent; he/she may be having concerns around school and peer group, or struggling with sense of self and appearance including body image. As adolescents become increasingly independent, it is difficult for parents to identify the underlying causes of these problems. Depression, anxiety, and relationship struggles are common during adolescence, and these conditions often have physical symptoms such as chronic fatigue, dizziness, headache, and abdominal or chest pain. If you are concerned about your adolescent, call Marie on 0407 951 313.
